Trademark Monitoring with L4SB

L4SB will watch for trademark applications filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), that may be “confusingly similar” to your trademark.

The intent is to notify you of others that may be attempting to register a similar trademark, to help you police and enforce your trademark.

What’s Included:

  • This is a monthly subscription service, and you can cancel at any time.
  • Monitoring of one (1) trademark, with up to two (2) class codes for Bronze service, three (3) class codes for Silver service, and four (4) class codes for Gold service.  Additional class codes are available for an additional fee.
  • Demand letter template.
  • Initial Knock-Out report to evaluate whether other similar trademark applications have been submitted between now and when you filed your trademark.
  • Attorney review of the initial Knock-Out report for Silver and Gold service.
  • Attorney review of each and every report for Silver and Gold service.
  • Attorney consult for Gold service.
  • “Notice of Opposition” to the USPTO by L4SB Attorney for Gold service.
  • Volume discounts for additional trademark monitoring, trademark work and legal services (for trademark-related legal services), as identified in our landing page.

Additional Options:

  • You can include (or remove) class codes at any time.  Additional class codes are available for an additional fee, depending on the type of service.
  • You can purchase a 30-minute trademark attorney consult at any time, if you don’t have the Gold service.

Terms for Trademark Monitoring Reports

  • This is a monthly subscription service, and you can cancel at any time.
  • You can upgrade or downgrade your service at any time, although if you upgrade your service to take advantage of discounts, we have a 3-month grace period — you cannot take advantage of the discounts until three (3) months after the upgrade.
  • No refunds.
  • We will email you our reports, and it is your responsibility to make sure you can access your email, and that your email provider does not block, refuse, blacklist or otherwise frustrate our efforts to send you these reports.
  • This service mainly pertains to trademark monitoring, not all the other legal work associated with trademark enforcement.  Our service does not include such activity, although our rates will be discounted according to your plan type.
  • In some circumstances, we may need a retainer (up to $10,000) to represent you in a trademark action.  Such circumstances include a trademark infringement action (i.e. lawsuit) and when the other party files a competent complaint (or answer) in the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board (TTAB) at the USPTO.
  • Our opinions are just that: opinions, and we make no representations and warranties that we can predict the actions of any third-parties, including but not limited to the USPTO, TTAB and/or other third-party trademark holders and/or their attorneys.
  • We reserve the right to terminate services with you at any time with notice, and we will terminate services should you be unresponsive to our requests for more information or you issue a payment refusal with your credit card or issuing bank.
