Ben is a legal intern for the firm. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in May of 2024 with majors in Political Science and International Studies and minors in History, Human Rights, Public Policy and International Affairs. During his undergraduate career, Ben also interned at SMU’s Deason Criminal Justice Reform Center, where he researched various states’ laws on First Appearances and ultimately drafted model legislation to reduce the amount of time defendants wait before their trials in Texas. Ben will be attending the University of New Mexico School of Law in the fall as a first year law student. Ben is interested in corporate law but is also interested in learning about other areas of law through his internship and legal studies. At the firm, Ben helps conduct legal research, writes blog posts, and assist the attorneys.
