Nate Sterling has a master’s degree (M.A.) in Conflict Resolution from CSU Dominguez Hills, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from UOP McGeorge School of Law, and a baccalaureate (B.A.) degree in Psychology from CSU Sacramento. Nate Sterling successfully completed thousands of hours of trainings in small business representation, counseling, litigation, mediation and dispute resolution. For several years after graduating from law school, Nate worked at a law firm in Los Angeles handling tort litigation cases including class actions. Nate has been an attorney and mediator in Sacramento since 2001 successfully representing hundreds of clients over thousands of hours of progressive experience up to and including jury and judge trials.
Nate Sterling has a breadth of experience practicing law full time since 2001 in many areas of the law including: small business defense, small business counseling, small business contract drafting and review, business litigation, small business employment law, small business tort law, trusts, and mediations and alternative dispute resolutions.
Nate Sterling has developed conflict resolution models and has successfully mediated small and large disputes, from individuals to business disputes. Nate also has much experience with pre-litigation evaluations and settlement negotiations for clients.
Nate Sterling charges $150 per hour for attorney services, $200 per hour for mediator services (usually split equally between the disputants so effectively $100 per hour).
Basic fluency in Spanish if needed. In his free time Nate enjoys spending time with his family, his pets, cooking, golfing, movies and going on cruise vacations.
